How I work.
This is not a process checklist. It is what I believe about building software, and why I work the way I work.
- M-01
Engineering and design are one craft.
Pretending they are separate is how products end up beautiful and unusable, or correct and unreadable. The same brain writes the type signature and chooses the type size. Same hands.
- M-02
Ship products, not prototypes.
A demo nobody uses is a deck. Budqo is on iOS and Google Play because that is the only state of done that matters. The status marker is shipped or unshipped — there is no in-between worth listing.
- M-03
Constraints clarify.
Pay cycles, government paperwork, a 4G signal in a province — the constraint is the design brief. Software that ignores the user's actual conditions is decoration. Empathy for home is not branding; it is engineering input.
- M-04
Read the docs that ship with the code.
Not the announcement post. Not the marketing copy. The README in node_modules. The release notes. The migration guides. The framework moves; the work moves with it.

The codebase is the work sample.
A recruiter or engineer may open the repo. Naming matters. Dead code is a lie about what you do. Types are documentation. The way the work is built is part of the work.
